The next generation of processors out of Samsung's factories, currently known as Mongoose or Exynos M1, recently made flash on GeekBench. Considering the scores, the devices that host should be rather powerful.

SamMobile discovered, exploring the dark recesses of the Chinese social network Weibo, a screenshot of a GeekBench benchmark attributed to a device equipped with a Samsung processor "Mongoose". Already mentioned several times by rumor, it would have the particularity to enter the South Korean manufacturer of walk-in closed circle of ARM cores developers (architecture so far adopted essentially the Cortex -ax).With a score of 2294 in single-threaded and multi-threaded in 6908, Mongoose crushes its competition, at least when using its various hearts. Indeed, these results are to be opposed to those of the Apple A9, the Exynos or Tegra 7420 K1, reaching respective scores of 2487/4330, 1486/4970 and 1900 / 3400. The multitasking performance the Mongoose thus seem very impressive. If this screenshot is genuine, it means that the optimization tests are ongoing to this unofficial yet SoC. Its results are nevertheless very similar to those already noticed this summer, suggesting that Samsung has reached a limit difficult to overcome. It is not impossible, however, that improvements be made by its marketing. In all likelihood, this series is scheduled for 8 Exynos 2016, which leaves hope for a presence in the next flagship of the brand, the Galaxy S7.
