Magic Stick: a key that embeds 8GB Android and Windows 10

If you want to use Windows 10, Android or Linux on a large screen and cost, this is a project that should fill you up. The MagicStick is indeed a small dongle that connects via HDMI to any TV, and has a powerful enough processor to run videos in 4K (according to its designers), edit photos in Photoshop and play all your favorite mobile titles.

The Magic Stick is available in two versions:  

1.The Magic Stick It is equipped with an Intel Z8300 Cherry Trail processor (1.83GHz), 2GB of RAM and 32GB of storage (which you can add 128GB of space, thanks to the integrated microSDXC card reader). The device's connectivity is not left out, since benefits from a USB 3.0 Type-C, two USB 2.0 ports and a micro USB port. Finally, the device can connect to the network via Wi-Fi N or to other devices via Bluetooth 4.1.  

2.The other model, the MagicStick Wave, is more powerful, since it is holding an Intel Cherry Trail Z8700 CPU (2.4 GHz), 8 GB of memory and 64 GB of storage. We can add it again 128GB of additional space, thanks to the integrated Micro SDXC reader. In terms of connectivity, it has a port USB 3.1 Type-C, two USB 3.0 ports and a micro USB port. The wireless connection is established for its Wi-Fi a / c and Bluetooth 4.1.

In both cases, you can enjoy an HDMI 2.0 port and an opportunity to review any video content, even those encoded in 4K. What advantage of a powerful media center in the living cheaply. Another advantage: Windows 10 (3 months evaluation) and Android are embedded on both models. Windows repository can therefore find, while enjoying games and applications from Google Play. The apparatus can be controlled in a conventional manner, using a mouse and a keyboard, or via a mobile application.

The Magic Stick One costs $ 99 for the moment, which must be added $ 29 of postage for France. The Wave MagicStick meanwhile sold 249 dollars. It is in both cases of a promotional offer, since both devices are for now only available for pre-order on participatory platform Indiegogo. Once the campaign is over, the price of MagicStick One will rise to $ 199 and that of MagicStick Wave to 399 dollars.
 
Finally, last point: although still active, the Indiegogo campaign collected in two days enough funds to complete the finalization of the project. Of the $ 50,000 required, the founders of MagicStick project have already received more than $ 250,000. And it remains 29 days before the end of the campaign ...
