Some projects play on the rope (sensible) nostalgia. This is exactly what the smartboy Hyperskin of the company, which intends to transform its case iPhone GameBoy. The object is in the form of a base wherein the front snaps the smartphone, and on which a cartridge of original Gameboy back branch.
The design is obviously very inspired by the Nintendo handheld, as well as the colors. Simply put, it is a GameBoy cut below the screen. The controls are identical, with directional cross, two action buttons and classic Start and Select buttons. Given the generous space available on the module, a battery will also expand the autonomy of the phone, to offer even longer gaming sessions.
The concept as imagined by the company is aimed at the iPhone 6 Plus, but other devices are studied whether iOS, Android or even Windows. The most interesting in this story is the genesis of smartboy. The first smartboy was an April Fool, but facing public enthusiasm, the company decided to carry out the project. However, no release date has yet been mentioned.
