All currently running Windows 7 computers, 8 or 8.1 are eligible for free Windows 10, and Microsoft likes to know. So much so that the operating system automatically downloads the consequent upgrade to Windows 10 and that from time to time remind the user that their PC can migrate a single click. If the update in question set will be considered "optional" in Windows Update, things will change next year ...
On his blog, Microsoft announced that it will soon be easier to migrate to Windows 10. Nothing really new about the procedure, since it will go through the Windows Update (which is very simple and very practical, except when Microsoft servers are overloaded). However, if Microsoft states that if the update will shortly enter optional, it will appear as "recommended" next year. Consequently, depending on system settings, the upgrade to Windows 10 from Windows 7 or 8 will be almost automatic. Before the update, a window asking the user whether to continue the operation will be displayed.
No fundamental changes to the OS installation is therefore only to be expected, except for this passage "recommended update". What push a little non seasoned to install Windows 10 and reach the positions billion in 3 years?
