Windows software compatible Android soon?

Windows software and applications soon be available to owners of Android devices? No, this is not a joke! But it will have a compatible device, and the vast majority is not ..

We owe this to the CodeWeavers innovation company, which has developed an application to Android smartphones and tablets. The purpose of this application, named CrossOver for Android, is to enable the execution of Windows software and games on Android devices. It is not about virtualization, but emulation. Therefore, no need to install the operating system on the device, the software takes care to interpret all Windows instructions. What easily regain its Windows software library and toy library on his tablet or smartphone, without using a tool remote control jack.

But there is a restriction: the CrossOver for Android application works only on x86 tablets. And as a crushing devices are equipped with an ARM processor, there is a good chance that yours can not run the application. Page CrossOver specifies that Atom processor and 2 GB of RAM will be needed to take full advantage of the emulator. Among the compatible devices, we can quote the Nokia N1, the Lenovo Yoga 2 or Asus ZenFone 2. However, good point: the application will be completely free. If no launch date has yet been communicated, the publisher states that CrossOver finally be available before the end of the year.
