As expected from the Intel conference last August, Fossil present today his first collection of watches and bracelets connected. Known Fossil Q, the range includes three devices, one of which shows in Android Wear. The latter takes the name of Founder, when his associates are under small Grant names, Dreamer and Reveler. Suffice to say that with its new range, Fossil believes he "found" the recipe for its watches selling like hotcakes.
While manufacturers of smartphones come to renew their ranges, or to launch their first watches, like Huawei, few Chinese firms trying to invite the world of Android Wear, as Elephone done. In contrast, the classical watchmaking remains shy, Tag Heuer is the only brand to have announced a watch, whose official launch is expected before the end of the year, but at a stubbornly high prices. Fossil thus takes the risk of being among the first to launch a sector where it is not the most anticipated by leveraging design expertise rather than on the technical aspects of its products. Note also that the rate of the Founder is below most of its competitors, with the exception of the Asus ZenWatch 2.

The Founder, which is of particular interest here, so runs on Android Wear, and will be compatible like all its competitors with Android as iOS. We do not know much at present, if not the display of the watch is touch (needless to say), and round, with a crown located on its right side. We will therefore know that the Founder officiates as a tracker of activities, at least to count the number of steps and calories burned during the day, hoping that a heart rate sensor is added to the total.
For technical details, it will wait a few days yet, but we already know that the device will be equipped with Intel, the watch having been raised for the first time at IDF the chip designer. However, already we can already be sure that the watch will be available before Christmas from 275 dollars (depending on the chosen bracelets, one imagines), with a euro price yet to be confirmed.
